Sometimes we perceive certain colors as symbols of luxury and grandeur, but they don't always create the same impression when combined. Some color combinations can look incompatible and too bright, even if they include basic colors like black, beige, or white.

Experts from the fashion website Who What Wear shared their tips on which color combinations are best avoided to avoid a "fashion failure."

Black and fuchsia

Black is always in fashion and usually adds sophistication to an outfit. However, when it is combined with fuchsia, expressiveness becomes key, and bright pink becomes the main element of the ensemble. This rich shade can hardly be called discrete, so it should be combined with caution, choosing lighter colors for this purpose.

Purple and yellow

Each of these colors can be elegantly incorporated into a style, for example, through an accent on accessories or a dominant piece of clothing. However, when they are combined, the result is too flashy to be considered true elegance and "luxury".

Green and red

Usually, when we see the combination of green and red in an outfit, decoration, or cosmetics, our thoughts involuntarily fly to the New Year's celebration. These colors are so firmly entrenched in our minds as symbols of winter holidays that using them in other contexts can trigger unexpected associations and impressions.
