Shines like new: methods of cleaning a stainless steel sink

Stainless steel is the undisputed leader among materials for kitchen sinks. It looks great, doesn't rust, and is easy to maintain.
However, experts advise avoiding abrasive products for cleaning such sinks, as they can leave scratches. OBOZ.UA will share with you the secrets of how to clean a stainless steel sink without harming its surface, using only natural products.
Baking soda:
Mix baking soda with water to form a paste. Apply the paste to the surface of the sink and gently rub it with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth. Leave the paste on for 10-15 minutes to soften the stains if they are stubborn. Rinse off the paste and wipe the sink dry.
Vinegar:
Mix equal parts white vinegar and filtered water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the sink surface. Leave the vinegar on for 5-10 minutes to dissolve limescale. Wipe the sink with a damp cloth to remove dirt and restore the shine.
Lemon and salt:
Cut the lemon in half and sprinkle salt on the slice (it is better to use extra salt, because its crystals are spherical and do not scratch the surface). Lightly rub the lemon slice on the dirty areas of the sink. The lemon acid will help dissolve the dirt, and the salt will provide effective cleaning. Rinse the sink and wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
Carbonated water:
Fill a spray bottle with sugar-free sparkling water. Spray the sink with sparkling water. Rinse the sink with clean water. The acids and carbon dioxide bubbles in the soda water will help clean limescale and other dirt.
Alcohol:
Prepare a solution of equal parts rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol and water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the sink. Leave the solution on for a few minutes. Wipe the sink with a microfiber cloth. This method will not only clean the sink but also disinfect it.
Bonus:
After use, wash the sink with the same dishwashing detergent you use to wash your dishes. Even the foam that remains on the sponge will cope well with dirt and will not leave scratches if you do not use the hard side of the sponge.
Remember that regular cleaning of your stainless steel sink will help it maintain its shine and beauty for longer.
Important: Do not use hard brushes, metal sponges, or harsh chemicals to clean your stainless steel sink, as they can damage the surface.
