Make it shine like new: effective methods for cleaning very dirty pans

Over time, any pan loses its purity and shine, dulling under the accumulation of grease, carbon deposits, and other contaminants. Don't rush to throw away your old pot - with simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, you can bring it back to life.

One of these recipes was shared by a TikTok user under the nickname @tavares_good_tips, demonstrating its effectiveness on his own experience, The Mirror writes. This method requires only four ingredients:

• Coca-Cola (200 ml)
• Salt (1 teaspoon)
• Dishwashing detergent (200 ml)
• Water (100 ml)

Preparation:

1. Add a teaspoon of salt to the Coca-Cola bottle, close it tightly and shake it well to dissolve the salt. Be careful because the mixture may rise slightly after adding the salt.
2. Pour the solution into a container, add another tablespoon of salt, and stir.
3. Add 200 ml of dishwashing detergent and stir again.
4. Pour in 100 ml of water and mix again.
5. Pour the solution into a spare bottle and use it to clean pots and pans, especially aluminum pots.

Demonstration:

In his video, @tavares_good_tips showed how this product can be used to clean even very dirty pots with old dirt. By applying a little solution to a dishwashing sponge, he easily removed all the dirt from the pan.

Tip:

For best results, soak heavily soiled pots in hot water for 10-15 minutes before applying the solution.
