In Poland, a metal detector has discovered a unique bronze brooch estimated to be 2500 years old. This discovery is of great importance for science, as it allows for a deeper exploration of the life and culture of the people who inhabited these lands in ancient times.

The discovered fibula, which dates back to the Halstatt D period (ca. 550-400 BC), is a typical piece of jewelry for representatives of the Luzhitsky culture. This culture, which stretched across the territory of modern Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Ukraine, left behind a rich archaeological heritage, Lubelski Wojewódzki Konserwator Zabytków reports on Facebook.

In addition to the bronze brooch, the metal detector also found two types of medieval weapons: a projectile and a battle axe. These findings are also of great interest to researchers, as they allow them to learn more about military affairs and the life of people who lived in these lands in the Middle Ages.
