Probably every one of us dreams of a slim figure without exhausting workouts and strict diets. It seems that this is now possible, as scientists have discovered a new method of weight loss that does not require radical lifestyle changes.

This innovative method is based on a simple rule: chewing each piece of food slowly for 30 seconds. According to researchers, following this rule can help you lose weight without harming your health and without too much effort, PSY Blog writes.

How does it work?

Chewing food slowly gives the body more time to receive satiety signals from the brain. Usually, these signals come 15 minutes after you start eating, but many people eat much faster, not giving the body a chance to realize that it is already full.

As a result, a person overeats, consuming more calories than necessary, which leads to weight gain.

The effectiveness of the slow chewing method was confirmed by a study involving 54 children aged 6 to 17. The study participants were asked to follow three simple rules:

Slowly chew each bite of food for 30 seconds. Drink a glass of water before meals. No snacking between meals.

The results of the study showed that children who ate more slowly lost between 3% and 5% of their weight over one year.

To start using the slow chewing method, simply make it a point to chew each bite of food thoroughly for 30 seconds. It may seem difficult at first, but over time it will become a habit.

Weight loss will be gradual, but it will be a guaranteed and sustainable result. Combining slow chewing with a healthy diet and regular exercise will help you achieve your desired figure and improve your overall health.
