For sushi and sandwiches: how to salt red fish with just two ingredients

Among many foods, some stand out for their unique properties, and red fish is one of them. There are a number of good reasons to add it to your diet more often, because fish boosts immunity, strengthens joints, heart and blood vessels, and lowers blood cholesterol.
Lightly salted red fish cooked at home will cost half the price, and you won't have to doubt its freshness. Here's how to quickly salt red fish at home. You will need a minimum of ingredients.
Ingredients:
- Fresh red fish, fillet - 500-600 g
- Rock salt - a tablespoon
- Sugar - 0.5 tablespoon
If you bought a whole fish, you need to clean it from the scales, remove the backbone, and use tweezers to remove small bones.
Combine salt and sugar in a small bowl. Put the prepared fish pieces in a wide bowl and rub them with salt and sugar on all sides. Cover the fish and refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Liquid may be released from the fish, so drain it off.
Different types of red fish are suitable for this salting. It can be trout, salmon, salmon, or pink salmon.
