White coating on chocolate: is it safe to consume

Many people may be surprised to see white spots on their favorite chocolate. This raises the question of whether it is safe to consume such a product and whether this coating affects the taste of chocolate.
As for the spoilage of chocolate, can white coating be an indicator of such a process? UAportal found an unexpected answer.
It is well known that some food products are considered infinitely resistant to spoilage. Honey is often cited as an example, but can the same be said for chocolate? Chocolate can spoil, so it's important to keep an eye on its expiration date.
What is sometimes called "fat bloom" or "sugar coating" on chocolate is actually a normal phenomenon. It occurs due to certain physical processes inside the chocolate and is not a sign of spoilage.
So, if you find such traces on the surface of your chocolate, don't be in a hurry to blame the manufacturer. This can be proof of the high quality of the chocolate, because artificial trans fats, unlike natural cocoa butter, do not cause such a reaction.
