Orchids will bloom like crazy if you feed them this product: it's not about banana peels
Orchids are one of the most popular house plants. However, keeping them blooming can be quite a challenge.
Fertilizing orchids can make a big difference. Many people use water settled with banana peels for fertilization, but experts advise trying a different method, according to Express.co.uk.
In particular, garlic water works better than banana water. Garlic fertilizes the soil because it is rich in phosphorus, a nutrient that helps plants grow abundantly, and potassium, which will keep the plant's leaves and flowers in top shape.
To prepare the garlic water solution, simply peel a few cloves of garlic, then chop and add to a container filled with water. Let the mixture stand for at least a day before use or two to three days for even better results in a cool, dark place.
Do not use it every day. It is best to limit spraying to once or twice a week. Too much garlic can lead to inhibited plant growth.
