Dandelion honey: how to make and where to store

Dandelion is healthier than many popular foods. Not only the leaves but also the flowers of this plant are suitable for consumption. It contains vitamins A, C, and K, folic acid, calcium, and potassium.
Dandelion flowers can be the basis for flavored honey. This recipe does not require 300-400 inflorescences, as many people recommend. 350 flowers will be enough to get a delicious and viscous "honey".
The ingredients for dandelion honey are as follows: 350 dandelion inflorescences, a kilogram of sugar, 2 lemons, and water.
Wash the dandelion flowers in the shower. Pour water over the flowers so that it only covers them. Leave it for 24 hours. Then pour off the infusion. Add 500 ml of water, sugar and chopped lemons to the flowers. Bring to a boil over low heat. Cook for 20-25 minutes until the jam thickens and looks like honey.
Remove the jam from the heat and strain it through cheesecloth. Return the strained jam to the stove and boil for another minute. Pour the finished "honey" into sterilized jars.
For a richer color, you can add a little turmeric to the jam.
Store dandelion "honey" in a cool, dark place. It will be good for six months.
