You may not even realize that the mistakes you keep repeating can cause pasta to stick together. And often it's not about the type of pasta.

The UAportal team has prepared some key tips to help you achieve the perfect pasta consistency and avoid sticking to the walls of the pan.

Ideal proportions of pasta, water, and salt

To cook pasta, use the following proportions: for every 100 grams of product, take one liter of water and add 10 grams of salt. Salt should be added to the water before you start cooking the pasta.

Use a large saucepan

A small saucepan is not suitable for cooking pasta. It's better to choose a pot with a lot of space so that the pasta has room to "swim" and doesn't stick together.

Cook over high heat

Turn the heat to high. You can salt the water in advance and then cover the pot with a lid to speed up the boiling.

Throw pasta only into boiling water

Put the pasta in the pot only after the water has come to a boil. If the water is not hot enough, the pasta may stick together.

Serve the dish immediately

Serve the pasta immediately after cooking, while it is still hot, to avoid sticking together on the plate. It is also not recommended to rinse them with cold water, as a sudden change in temperature can cause them to stick together.
