Experts have named a place in the refrigerator where yogurt should not be stored: you will spoil the product

Yogurt is a great snack and is used as an ingredient in many recipes. However, there is one common mistake people make when storing it in the fridge.
According to Respect Food, yogurt should not be stored in the refrigerator door but instead kept on the shelves. This was reported by Express.co.uk.
It is important to store yogurt in the back of the refrigerator where the temperature remains consistently low. Given its sensitivity, even slight temperature fluctuations can affect the shelf life.
Another problem to consider when storing this dairy product is contamination. Use a clean spoon every time to prevent bacterial contamination inside the container.
Although freezing yogurt changes its texture, making it less appealing for direct consumption, it remains a versatile ingredient ideal for baking. Frozen yogurt can be stored for up to one month.
