Don't rush to throw away: how to give a second life to a broken lipstick

Broken lipstick? Don't rush to throw it in the trash! Thanks to a simple TikTok life hack, you can "glue" it back together and give it a second life.

What you will need:

• A broken lipstick
• A lighter
• A napkin

Instructions:

1. Prepare your lipstick. Take the container with the remaining lipstick and gently heat it over a lighter to melt it a little. Do not allow the lipstick to become completely liquid. Repeat the procedure with the broken part.
2. Connect the parts. Quickly join the melted parts of the lipstick together until they harden.
3. Remove the excess. Use a tissue to remove any residual product that has come out.

You're done! Your lipstick has a "new" look again and is ready to use.

This life hack not only saves you money because you don't have to buy a new lipstick, but also helps to save the environment. The less often we throw away cosmetics, the less garbage and microplastics get into the environment.
