Chemical stain removers don't always do the job, and they can be harmful to the environment. Fortunately, there are simple and eco-friendly alternatives that can help you get rid of even the most stubborn stains.

Experts have suggested 5 products that can remove stains of any complexity from white and colored clothes. However, before using any of these methods, test it on an inconspicuous area of the fabric to make sure it does not damage the color or structure.

Stubborn stains may require repeated use or a combination of different methods. When working with lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide, wear gloves to protect your hands.

What improvised means can wash stains from things:

1. Baking soda:

Dissolve 1 cup of baking soda in hot water. Soak the stained clothes in this solution for 30 minutes. Wash the clothes as usual. Baking soda not only removes stains but also deodorizes the clothes.

2. Cornstarch:

Sprinkle cornstarch on the stain and leave it overnight. In the morning, shake off the starch and wash the clothes as usual. Cornstarch is effective at removing grease stains.

3. Lemon juice:

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon onto the stain. Leave it on the stain for an hour. Wash the clothes as usual. Lemon juice whitens clothes and removes stains.

4. Liquid black soap:

Apply liquid black soap to the sweat stain. Add a little hydrogen peroxide if the stain is severe. Wash the garment as usual.

5. Mouthwash:

Add a cup of alcohol-containing mouthwash to your normal wash cycle. The mouthwash disinfects the laundry and removes stains.
