Don't risk your money: places where it is forbidden to keep your bank card

The lifespan of a payment card is closely related to its proper storage. Failure to comply with the appropriate conditions can lead to damage and inoperability. Sometimes the card fails due to a change in shape, sometimes due to demagnetization of the ribbon. It is not uncommon for a plastic card to be damaged simply by being in a pocket or on a desk, so you need to be careful.
Particular attention should be paid to four places that are dangerous for storing your payment card. UAportal writes about it.
Avoid heated surfaces
Before leaving your bank card on the windowsill or on the table, make sure that these surfaces are not heated and not exposed to direct sunlight. High temperatures can distort the shape of the plastic.
Keep in mind that payment cards are also sensitive to very low temperatures. Make sure not to leave your card in the cold.
Do not leave near certain home appliances
Do not place your card near household appliances. Microwave ovens can be particularly dangerous because their radiation can demagnetize the magnetic stripe.
Do not keep your card with your keys
Avoid placing your payment card in your pocket with your keys or coins, as this may damage the card.
Do not carry the card in your back pocket
The card can easily fall out of your back pocket. There is also a risk of forgetting it there before sitting down, which can lead to its loss or damage.
