Do you dream of a happy child? Never say these three phrases to your child

Every parent wants their child to grow up to be a happy and successful person. And while love is undoubtedly the most important factor that contributes to this, the psychological climate in the family should not be underestimated.
Unfortunately, many parents, even those who sincerely love their children, do not realize that certain phrases can have a devastating effect on the child's psyche, experts from Parent University say.
Here are 3 phrases to avoid if you want your child to feel happy and confident:
1. "I thought you were smarter"
At first glance, this phrase may seem innocent, but it carries a dangerous hint that the child does not meet the expectations of the parents. This can lead to the fact that the child will lose motivation to learn, feel stupid and discouraged.
2. "Stop crying!"
Tears are a natural way of expressing emotions, and it is important for children to be able to express them freely. Stopping them from crying can lead to a child learning to hold back their emotions, which can have a negative impact on their mental health.
3. "It's a shame to be afraid of this!"
Fear is a natural reaction to danger or the unknown. Making fun of a child for being afraid is not only unconstructive but also cruel. This can lead to the child becoming even more insecure and withdrawing.
