Preparing a delicious lunch or dinner can sometimes take longer than planned. For housewives, the challenge is to use the time efficiently while cooking without sacrificing the quality of the food.

Quick cooking of peas for the popular pea soup can become not a myth but a reality if you use certain culinary tricks. UAportal team tells about them.

To quickly prepare the first dish with peas, it is recommended to soak this cereal (regardless of type: split, polished or whole) in water overnight.

To start the cooking process, fill a saucepan with water, add all the necessary ingredients and potatoes.

Next, drain the water from the previously soaked peas, put them in a blender and grind them until you get medium-ground cereal.

Add the resulting mass to the pan along with the roast, cook for 5 minutes, and then season with salt, pepper, and fresh chopped herbs.
