When a cat jumps on the bed of a sick person and starts purring loudly, it may mean that recovery is not far off. However, if the cat is nervous and constantly meows at the patient's bedside, it may indicate that it is too early to think about recovery.

If the cat suddenly leaves the house and the patient's condition improves, it may mean that it has taken over the disease.

According to folk beliefs, cats that have stuck to the house bring good luck and ward off various misfortunes. Those who drive such cats away from their homes will face seven years of unhappiness, while those who take in a stray animal attract good luck and prosperity for many years.

Cats should not be hurt or harmed. It is believed that drowning kittens leads to misfortune in the family for the next seven generations, including floods and violent deaths.
