Cleaning a dirty oven can be a real challenge, especially if it's caked with burnt-on grease. And if you need to clean your oven quickly and effortlessly, you can use some creative solutions.

There is a simple and economical way to clean your oven with a regular dishwasher tablet. This life hack will help you get rid of grease, burnt stains, and food residue without using harsh chemicals.

Just take a dishwasher tablet and put it in a bowl of warm water. Wait for it to soften slightly, but not crumble. Apply the tablet to the dirty areas. Use a brush to scrub the dirty areas of the oven in a circular motion. Leave it on for a while to soften the dirt. Wipe the oven with a damp microfiber cloth to remove any dirt and tablet residue.

For stubborn dirt, you can rub the tablet on the dirty areas, leave it on for a few minutes, and then wipe it off with a sponge. This method is also suitable for cleaning the oven window, racks, and metal parts around the door. To increase the cleaning effect, you can add a little baking soda to the warm water in which the tablet is soaked.

In addition to dishwasher tablets, you can use other simple products to clean your oven:

  • Baking soda: Make a paste of baking soda and water, apply to the stained areas, leave on overnight, and then wipe off with a sponge.
  • Lemon: squeeze the juice of a lemon into a bowl, dip a microfiber sponge into it, wipe the walls of the oven, leave for 5 minutes, then put the bowl with lemon juice in the oven for 30 minutes, wipe with a sponge.
  • Vinegar: Dilute vinegar with water, spray on the oven glass, wipe with a sponge.
